HIGHLIGHTS

Welcome in Athens international airport! Meet and greet with our guide and transfer to hotel in city of Athens! Depends on the arrival time we can stroll around Athens city center for first sight! Our guides have many suggestions for anything you can ask!

Today you will explore our city and country from the capital side. A half day sightseeing to Acropolis and historical city center with entrance to the Great Parthenon. You will have time to stroll around and prepare your staff for the great hike journey!

MYCENAE
-NAFPLIO first greek capital
Starting the great journey! First stop to the Canal of Corinth, and heading to Mycenae archaeological site with history of 3000 years! Admire the lion gate, the cyclopean walls and the Agamemnon Great tomb. Continue to first capital of Greece, Nafplio, a very scenic city in Peloponnese region! Visit the castle of Palamidi with history of 19 century and descent by the 1000 steps admiring the city and the Bourtzi sea fortress. Walk around the city from the coastal trail of Akronafplia and finish the tour in the historical center.
Head to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Helmos National Park
-Lake Tsivlos
Driving 2 hours to arrive in the natural park of Helmos! From the east side we will hike around 3 hours to arrive in amazing lake of Tsivlos, a green, clear lake between the forests, suitable for swimming! The history of the lake will enchant you! Here you will try canoe and authentic lunch as a gift from us! Transfer to hotel 2 hours from here, on the coast Corinthian gulf! On our way we will stop to local winery and participate in a private wine tasting! Dinner and overnight. (3 hours, around 9km).
Helmos National Park

-Vouraikos Canyon
Today we will visit the west side of Helmos Natural park. First we will stop to the Monastery of Mega Spilaio, builded in a cave. After we will visit the historical village of Kalavryta, a place of pain during the 2nd world war. We will taste local products such as honey and tea! From this point we will start the trail through the canyon and finish after 7 hours to Diakofto village. Transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight. (7 hours, around 23km)
Tzoumerka
-Kefalovryso Waterfall

After breakfast we cross the bridge of Rio Antirio and go to Tzoumerka mountain area, part of the biggest mountain range of Greece, Pindus. There we will visit the white cave of Anemotrypa. From there we will transfer to our mountain refuge and start the hiking trail to the highest waterfall of Greece, 350 meters! Everywhere around there are steep peaks up to 2500 meters!

Syrako-Kalarytes

An amazing roadtrip to the traditional villages of Tzoymerka, builded by stone on medieval years. We will pass many waterfalls and hike the trail around the 2 scenic villages, Syrako & Kalarytes.
Back to refuge for dinner and overnight. (5 hours, around 11km)
Arahthos River
Rafting
Today we will change our activity and go for white water rafting in one of the best rivers of Greece! Passing from fascinating places we will raft on the wild river, surrounded by steep rocks! Stop in the springs of Klifki for a snack break and continue to Plaka stone bridge. Finish the activity and drive to Konitsa village.

Aoos Canyon
Via Ferrata and Hike
Today you will try via ferata activity. In the canyon of Aoos we will hike and visit the Monastery of Stomiou. After that we will wear the special equipment, helmet and harness and we will pass many steep passes from the rocks and bridges with rope! In the afternoon we will go for a traditional music night with local people to show us their culture through the songs and music!

Vikos canyon hiking,

Today we will cross the deepest gorge of Europe, the Vikos. Enjoy the fascinating views everywhere and meet the springs of Vikos river. A long hiking day with old stone trails connecting the villages.
Back to hotel, dinner and overnight. (8 hours, 15km)
Dragonlake Hiking
The Timfi mountain rising to 2497meters up to our village and there is the famous dragonlake over there! Of course we will take the trail to there. One of the most beautiful hiking destinations of Greece, the Dragonlake has a lot of myths behind the name! Arriving there and coming back is hard project but the images will be unforgetable!

Ursa Trail
& Meteora Trail
This day will be a little rest, by driving to METEORA, one of the Unesco places and most sacred of Greece. There we will hike only for 3 hours, ascending on one of the unique rocks and admiring all the area! On each rock there is one monastery, rich on history. We will visit also 2 of them to learn the history behind the fascinating landscape.

Olympus
Highest summit of Greece,
1st day
After all that hikes is time to go to Olympus, the mountain of the Gods! Today we will ascend to the plateau of Muses and stay in the highest refuge of Balkans. This is the most scenic corner of mountains in Greece. The throne of Zeus is just here! You can see also his face.

Summit day, the summit of Gods! 2 hours scrambling to the highest point of Greece! For this ascend we provide you helmets, harnesses and ropes, and guide you the home of ancient gods! Return to refuge. From there we will admire also one of the best sunrise and sunsets of your life!

Olympus

From another trail we go back to Litochoro, the starting point of Olympus. Driving 4 hours to Delphi, another sacred place, that it was believed as the center of the ancient world! On the way we will stop to historical place of Thermopylae and see the monument of Leonidas, the great hero of ancient Greece. Here we will have thermal baths for total resting!

Delphi

Ascend to Parnassos mountain where is the biggest ski center of Greece. From there we will hike the ancient trail starting from Korykion cave and finishing to Delphi archaeological site! After our guiding there we go back to Athens, direct to the port for embark to ferry to Sifnos island in Cyclades of Aegean sea! Arriving in the island and trek through the old narrow trail by stones.

Sifnos Island

Today we will cross all the coasts by walking, and we will stop on beaches for swimming and in many nice villages for resting! The Aegean sea is the best place for holidays in Greece and Sifnos combines it with trekking tours!

Sifnos Island

It’s the time to reach the top of the island, around 700 meters and admire all the islands of Aegean sea! On the summit there is a Monastery where we will stay for resting! After that we descent and continue our trail, finishing on the best beach of the island, Vathi beach. From there we driving to the port and embark the ferry going back to Athens.
Farewell dinner and overnight. (6 hours, 10km)

Mount Athos, the holy mountain, 3 days extension.
Note that women are not allowed to this sacred place, so during that 3 days they will spend in Thessaloniki city! The area of Holy mountain is full of monasteries built from 15 century on the steep rocks for protection from pirates and get closer to the god. 1st day climb to sacred summit 2033m altitude and stay in tents. 2nd day trek to the most mysterious side, frihta karoulia, passing from small monasteries and caves of monks. Sleep in rooms. 3rd day trek from 2 big monasteries with unbelievable treasures and meet the monks. Get out of the Mount Athos. Cost per person 600€ everything is included. The cost for women in Thessaloniki will be 250€ including accommodation and 1 sightseeing with guide!
Athens one day cruise 3 islands, 1 day extension.
Summer cruise passing from Hydra, Poros, Aegina islands with lunch included, swimming and walking to the islands. Cost per person 120€ (additional overnight is complimentary from our company).
